Got 3 days booked with producer Ben Eggehorn for a folk record. Looks like Steve Nistor will be playing drums which should be alot of fun. Also Just booked a session tomorrow with Bryan Cook to do a few more songs for the band New Assembly. I think I might be breaking out my rubber band bass so things might get a bit crazy....

Well it's been a while and I thought I should update this so you don;t think I'm dead. Just finished playing acoustic and electric bass on a record today for a guys named Jason Harris. Ben Eggehorn was producing it. It was my first time working with Ben and it went really well. Good songs and Ben is a super nice guy. Looks like there will be a few more coming up with him. Also working on my side project Mining State. Stuff is sounding really good. Looks like we might be able to record two more songs at the end of the month. I hope it all works out. Playing with the Boyz Skule and the Precious Medals this Monday night in Hermosa Beach. Hit me up if you wanna come and I'll get you the details, Then trying to get vocals done for Bryon's record and get that thing of to mix. Well, I better go cuz Im half asleep right now.

Just finished up a rehearsal today for a show Im doing tomorrow at the Bootleg Theater in Hollywood. The band is called Boyz Skule and it's pretty amazing I must say. Show starts at 9pm and it would be worth checking out if you are around. Tuesday I will be doing a session for and artist from Florida named Nathan Brooks. Justin Glasco is producing so Im sure that this will be a fun day. Wednesday I will be finishing up co-writing a song with Jony Bos. That's it for now....

Been tracking the parts for the song I wrote with Tyrone Wells. I think it is coming our really well and Im happy with it. I have a couple of shows coming up that I will be playing bass on. The next three Sundays at The Tar Pit In Hollywood.16th,23rd and the 30th. We will be playing a bunch of French Pop music from 9-11pm. The band is killer with Bret Farkas on Guitar, Aaron Sterling on Drums and Ana Maria on Vox. Very cool stuff!!! come by and say hi. Also, just booked a session that I will be playing bass on at the end of the month for a producer named Justin Glasco. Justin is a terrific drummer/pianist/bassist/ and just about anything else he wants to play. This will be the first time that I will be working with him in this capacity and I'm really looking forward to it.

I had the pleasure of writing a song called "The One I Hoped For" with singer/songwriter Tyrone Wells. The song has a nice way of developing itself with the payoff of the song being at the end of the chorus.This was a great experience and it was a pleasure to write with Tyrone. I also had a chance to listen to a couple of songs from the band New Assembly. I played bass on it a couple of weeks earlier. Just listened to a CD that I played on yesterday. Yes, a CD...The band is called Autumn In Repair and it looks like it was just released so go out and get a copy. That was a really fun one to do... The very talented and notorious Bobby Hartry was producing which is always a blast. Looks like May is going to be a good month for me. I got some fun stuff coming up which I will let you know about when it gets closer..

Got 3 nights booked this week to play bass on a record. The artist named Danny Fehsenfeld. Sounds like it's gonna be a late one so I'm gearing up on the coffee intake. Also, I think this is the week my Apogee converters should be coming in the mail. Really looking forward to getting that up and running!

Finishing up mixes on a song I wrote with Bryon Bos. Also, starting to learn the set list for an artist named Oak and Gorski. They are a duet cello and acoustic guitar. They are adding a band for a show and I will be playing upright bass. The music is great and Im looking forward to the show.

Just got a copy of a record that I played electric bass on. It is an artist from Switzerland named Reto Burrell. Stylistically is in the same direction of a Tom Petty. It was a great band with Jonny Polonski and Michael Chaves on gtrs, Rich Mouser on Organ and Steel gtr, yours truly on bass, Aaron Sterling on Drums and the the very talented Chris Testa producing and Mixing it.

Well I have my first gig on acoustic guitar this Wednesday! Really excited about it. It's gonna be at the gig in Hollywood 1/27 at 9pm. Playing for friend of mine Dan Winstrom. His songs are very rootsy/bluesy. Should be a bunch of fun. If it goes well looks like there will be more.
